BS-165-10-AB

The wall-mounted speaker BS-165-10-AB with A/B wiring and 2 x 10W/100V is equipped with two independent transformers. This allows the supply of a loudspeaker via two separate lines. Due to this wiring, a kind of ring formation is possible.

Type of protection: IP-54, color: RAL 9010.

The angled arrangement of the speaker chassis on the BS-165-10-AB provides a wider beam angle, even at higher frequencies. Due to the wider beam angle of the wall speaker, depending on the application, advantages can arise with regard to the required number of loudspeakers:

In the case of corridors, the wider beam angle can be used to achieve a more homogeneous sound field (in length or width) with a comparatively low ceiling height.

In the case of individual rooms, even smaller rooms can be supplied cost-effective with a redundant loudspeaker system (for example, offices, classrooms).

For renovations with the commonly used 2-pair loudspeaker feeder lines, high-quality sound reinforcement is possible with A-B cabling, even when existing ceiling cut-outs are used.

In the event of a line failure, the conventional alternating division of the loudspeakers into the A and B lines results in an undersupplied area between the next active loudspeakers of the redundancy. Using the A/B series wall speakers, both the A and B lines are present at each mounting position.

If one line fails, a higher speech intelligibility and security compared to an alternating arrangement is achieved.

ATTENTION: For A/B speakers, always pay attention to the correct phase (+/-) for wiring!
