HYMN-GATEWAY
The
HYMN-GATEWAY is a
standard gateway (radio transmitter) for HYMN hymn boards with tablet / APP control.
The gateway serves as a
connection from the tablet (HYMN-TABLET; optionally available) to the receiver of the HYMN hymn boards and is also essential for starting the operating software.
In the standard configuration of the HYMN song display system, a
private Wi-Fi is set up, which provides a
stable connection between the tablet and the gateway and controls the data transmission to the connected hymn boards.
When using the tablet to operate the HYMN hymn boards, it is crucial to take the
transmission radius between the tablet and the Gateway into account. Only a stable and reliable reception ensures that the inputs on the tablet can be implemented on the hymn board without interruptions. If the inputs are made i.e. by the organist the optimal location for the gateway is near the organ. This location ensures a
strong and continuous connection to the tablet.
The distance to the hymn boards plays a minor role. Nevertheless, care should be taken to ensure that
structural conditions do not impair reception too much.
Thick walls or large pieces of furniture can reduce the signal strength and should therefore be avoided when it comes to
placing the gateway.
For larger church rooms or environments with solid concrete partitions, it may be necessary to increase the
signal strength and range. For this purpose, we offer
additional repeaters (HYMN-REPEATER; optionally available
), which help to expand the
Wi-Fi coverage and ensure that all areas of the room are optimally supplied.
Modern buildings and large places of worship increasingly have their own Wi-Fi and/or a complex control system. Our technology can also integrate the HYMN hymn boards into these systems (see an overview of the
transmission options in the product images).
