VIS-DCP2000-W
The VIS-DCP2000-W is a digital control center for wireless and wired conference systems with DSP signal processing.
Supports functions such as channel selection, voting and camera work.
The VIS-DCP2000-W meets all the requirements of a modern wireless control center with numerous network and DSP functions. It is easy to install and can be controlled either directly on the device itself or with software via PC.
A maximum of 240 wireless microphone units can be operated with one control center, with up to four wireless microphone units active simultaneously.
The wireless network is Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11n compatible.
In a conference system with a VIS-DCP2000-W conference center, both wired and wireless microphone units can be operated together as required.
A CAT5e network cable transmits 64 audio channels and additional control information. The system detects all connected microphone units and assigns each unit a unique address (ID) to avoid network conflicts.
The hot-plug function allows microphone units to be added or removed during active operation. The ability to set up the wired network as a closed loop increases reliability.
The AUDIO-LINK ring network technology guarantees interference-free signal transmission.
Optional expansion signal distributors increase the maximum number of usable wired conference units to up to 5,200.
Setup and conference operation are also possible without a connected computer.
The control center enables audio recordings directly to a USB flash drive via the integrated USB interface.
The VIS-DCP2000-W is equipped with a headphone jack (3.5 mm jack) on the front panel, 2 audio inputs with XLR and RCA connectors for feeding in external audio sources, and 8 audio outputs with XLR, RCA, and Phoenix connectors for signal output to external devices, e.g., active speakers, external recording devices, or for implementing various sound zones or foreign language channels.
Also on board are an Ethernet TCP/IP network interface for connecting the control unit to an existing network or directly to a PC and two RS232 interfaces for connecting to media control or for camera control.
The VIS-DCP2000-W offers
numerous setting options directly on the control panel or via software for:
-
Microphone unit activation
- "OPEN" mode: Each microphone unit will be activated as soon as the talk button is pressed.
- "APPLY" mode: Pressing the talk button on a microphone unit initiates an activation request. The microphone on the microphone unit lights up green, and the chairman's microphone unit indicates that an activation request is pending. The chairman can accept or reject the request. If the chairman accepts the activation request, the microphone on the affected microphone unit lights up red, and the microphone is active.
- "VOICE" mode: As soon as a microphone unit is spoken to loudly enough, the microphone is activated.
- "OVERRIDE" mode: Pressing the talk button on a microphone unit activates the microphone. At the same time, the previously active microphone unit is deactivated.
-
Adjusting the volume of the microphone units and the external output
-
Number of microphone units that can be activated simultaneously
-
Volume and settings of the 8 audio outputs
-
Simultaneous translation
-
Camera tracking
- Network parameters
Digital signal processing with DSP allows the adjustment of various audio parameters and increases the performance and sound quality of the overall system through functions such as:
-
AGC (Automatic Gain Control),
-
AFC (Adaptive Feedback Cancelling),
-
AEC (Acousic Echo Cancelling),
-
ANC (Acoustic Noise Control).
Two AUDIO LINK ports enable digital audio transmission between different conference centers or the connection of POE speakers via the
conference extension unit VIS-EXM.
Version with Dante interface available.
Compliant with standards
IEC 60914 and GBT 15381-94.
