DIBOX-9:1
The professional isolating transformer DIBOX 9:1 is an effective remedy against ground loops for all audio and multimedia components.
The universally applicable ELA accessory is a professional DI box with a 9:1 signal ratio.
Mains, humming noises and other disturbances caused by different ground potentials are eliminated by galvanic isolation of the cables.
The isolating transformer of the DIBOX-9: 1 is integrated in an extremely high-quality aluminum pressure housing and has a high-quality (Neutrik) XLR coupling or combo jack and GND lift (Ground Lift).
With the latter, the ground connection can be broken to interrupt ground loops.
When connecting a signal source (output) to an input, DI boxes are mainly used for galvanic isolation or real potential isolation.
Our 9:1 series DI boxes are specially designed to reduce a high output signal (LINE signal) to a microphone signal. This enables, for example, the audio connection of a video camera to an amplifier input with microphone sensitivity (video streaming).
