DIBOX-1:1

The professional isolating transformer DIBOX-1:1 is an effective remedy against ground loops for all audio and multimedia components.

The universally applicable ELA accessory is a professional DI box with a 1:1 signal ratio.

Mains, humming noises and other disturbances caused by different ground potentials are eliminated by galvanic isolation of the cables.

The isolating transformer of the DIBOX-1: 1 is integrated in an extremely high-quality aluminum pressure housing and has a high-quality (Neutrik) XLR coupling or combo jack and GND lift (Ground Lift). With the latter, the ground connection can be broken to interrupt ground loops.

Impedances Z=18kOhm/Z=18KOhm (1:1).

GOOD TO KNOW:

DI boxes are mainly used when connecting a signal source with an unbalanced output (jack or RCA plug, such as electric guitars, CD players etc.) with a device with a balanced input (XLR connector, such as e.g. audio interfaces).
