The MIPRO TA-80 is a professional digital 5.8 GHz XLR plug-on transmitter.

Frequency range: 5.8 GHz.

The small transmitter can be plugged directly into all microphones with XLR connectors and operated. Both dynamic and condenser microphones can be used.

The TA-58 wireless transmitter is also compatible with the Phoenix microphone stands / microphone stand systems MEGZ-R-2, MEGZ-R-2A and MEGZ-R-5. These already have a corresponding device for connecting the radio transmitter.

The transmitter has an integrated phantom power supply of 48 V, which provides a supply current of up to 10 mA. The phantom power supply can be switched off when using dynamic microphones.

The various parameters of the transmitter can be set and displayed using the integrated LCD display and the function keys.

The power supply is provided by a high-quality, replaceable Li-ion battery of the type ICR 18500 which was specially developed for professional applications.

The charging takes place directly in the transmitter by connecting the transmitter to an external charger via the USB-C socket. The battery can also be removed and charged in an external charger MP-8. So you can always have a charged spare battery on hand and extend the operating time of the transmitter as required by quickly changing it.

With a fully charged battery, the operating time is up to 12 hours. Even when using true condenser microphones with a phantom power of 48V and 10 mA, the operating time is still a very comfortable 5 hours on one battery charge.

The plug-on transmitter is compatible with the receivers of the digital wireless system ACT-5800 (ACT-5801, ACT-5802, ACT-5812A and ACT-5814A) and is housed in a particularly light but robust aluminum housing.

The TA-58 operates in ISM 5 GHz frequency band and eliminates the interference from 2.4 GHz telecommunication products as well as the UHF band, which has more and more severe interference and strict telecom regulations.

Thus, the transmitter combines professional features, user-friendly operation and excellent quality at an affordable price.
